Inagurating our mobile medical post #2 in Carhuaz’ city center

We are pleased to announce that the second mobile medical post of Misión Huascarán is already operational and providing care to the population of Carhuaz. With the support of Fundación Mapfre, Southerm Perú, DIRESA Áncash and the Municipality of Carhuaz, this project is now a reality.

The mobile medical post is equipped with a modern ultrasound machine and two offices for care in the specialties of pediatrics, gynecology and general medicine, thus complementing the services that we have been offering with the first mobile health post. Each specialty has doctors and technical assistance personnel: a pediatrician, a gynecologist, a general practitioner and a sonographer.

In the month of April, 233 medical treatments were carried out in the different specialties that we offer completely free of charge.
