IFLA said in its manifesto for UNESCO: “the school library provides students with the tools that will allow them to learn throughout their lives and develop their imagination, making it possible for them to become responsible citizens”.
For Misión Huascarán, it is gratifying to be able to provide the children of the populated centers of Punyan and Congar with the necessary tools to improve their education.
On this occasion, the Misión Huascarán team, with the support of volunteers, got down to work and brought a 12-ton truck with donations. They implemented these libraries among books, furniture, audiovisual equipment and all the love of volunteers. Thanks to this, more than 70 children will be benefited.
