The textile program of the NGO Misión Huascarán continues to generate a positive impact in the lives of the women of Ancash. During the month of June, the achievements were obtained thanks to the commitment and dedication of the weavers, who have found in this initiative a source of empowerment and personal development.

These skilled artisans have demonstrated their skill and talent by producing unique, high-quality garments that reflect the rich textile tradition of the area.

In addition, during the month of June, an enriching talk was given by the leader of the nutrition program of the NGO Misión Huascarán, who addressed the weavers of the Congar textile workshop. This talk made it possible to share knowledge about nutrition and promote a healthy lifestyle, thus strengthening the comprehensive training of the participants.

On the other hand, a donation was distributed thanks to the Peruvian Food Bank, benefiting the weavers and their families. This solidarity collaboration contributed to improving the food security and well-being of the program participants.

“We are delighted to witness the growth and empowerment that the textile program has brought to the women of Ancash. Their talent and dedication are admirable, and we will continue to work to support and promote their development,” said Malu Hinostroza, Head of the textile program.

The Misión Huascarán textile program is a sample of the organization’s commitment to strengthening artisan skills, cultural preservation, and promoting the economic autonomy of women in Ancash.
