Our highly nutritious Heme Bread project continues to progress


In May we made a visit to the Bakels facilities. On this visit we had the opportunity to taste the hemenic bread made with the formula proposed by our nutritionist alongside the San Román Foundation. Thanks to the implementation of this project and the support of Bakels, children between 3 and 12 years of age, who are part of our Nutrition Program, will receive bread with high iron content. This initiative seeks to reduce anemia levels in children who are part of the Program.


In addition, in alliance with Fundación San Román, we are virtually training new bakers, teaching various bakery techniques to a group of collaborators who reside in our area of influence who will contribute to the implementation of this new program. In this way we will be able to achieve our goal of Zero Anemia in a sustained manner.
