In order to keep providing light to the people living in extreme poverty and high vulnerability in Mancos, Misión Huascarán has been continuing the project “Illuminate one by one” by installing nine new solar powered panels in families from to the population centers of Yauyo, Ushno, Cruz Coto, Huayapón y Huashcao, located over 3414 m.s.a.l.
There are already 26 solar powered panels that light homes to tend basic family needs in the night time and they illuminate children work tables for the homework time.
This project is one of Misión Huascarán initiatives that seeks to improve quality of life by providing light, initially, to fifty families in 19 population centers of the district.
