Huascarán Mission benefited more than 60,000 people in Ancash

More than 112 communities in Ancash were benefited through various social programs in areas such as education, health, nutrition, and economic development.

 

As part of the growth of the social programs developed by the NGO Misión Huascarán in the poorest communities in the mountains of Ancash, it is reported, according to the annual reports, that the initial goal of 50,000 beneficiaries has been surpassed, reaching 60,000 beneficiaries in 2022.

 

Directly, around 15,000 people were benefited by the NGO, while indirectly a total of 60,000 people were reached.

 

Misión Huascarán is present in more than 112 communities in the Ancash region, including Marcara, Vicos, Copa Grande, Yungay, Ranrahirca, Tumpa, Musho, Tingua, Shilla, Maya, Tinco and Mancos.
