The Peru Bicentennial Ladies Society, together with the selection committee, chose
Huascarán Mission as one of the 07 “model values” institutions, recognizing the work we have been doing for more than 5 years in favor of vulnerable communities in rural areas of Huaraz.

The objective of the Ladies Peru Bicentennial Society is to establish a solid group of role models; that inspire and encourage more Peruvians to materialize the practice of values ​​in their daily lives. Our hard work was recognized in a ceremony on November 23 at the MELIÁ hotel, with the presence of the Peru Bicentennial Ladies Society, its board of directors and guests from socially responsible organizations and different personalities. Being recognized for his impeccable career guided by solid values ​​and his contribution to our country. OLI Foundation, Mrs. Martha Lanos Zuloaga, Smile Train, Mr. Julio Garay Barrios, Albergue Inspira, Mrs. Yuri Valverde Castañeda, Mr. Armando Massé Fernández, NGO Tierra y Ser, Mrs. Nonie Reaño Quinteros, Operación Sonrisa, Mrs. María Jesús Gamero, Fundación Peruana del Cancer and especially our organization, Misión Huascarán, receiving the Order and VALORES PERÚ BICENTENARIO Award, a recognition that seeks to distinguish people and organizations that demonstrate their social responsibility, as well as the practice of values ​​guided by teamwork and perseverance in favor of of our community.

We are very grateful for this recognition of our charitable work over the years. This award motivates us and commits us to continue working on values ​​for the construction of a Peru with greater and better opportunities for all Peruvians.
